The Eco & Youth Club at UMS UMV Rajepur is a vibrant group of students committed to environmental stewardship, social awareness, and sustainable living. Our club serves as a platform to educate, engage, and empower the younger generation to become responsible citizens who champion both ecological preservation and community welfare.
Our core mission is to foster a sense of responsibility towards our local environment and community through hands-on activities and educational initiatives.
Environmental Awareness: To spread knowledge about critical ecological issues like climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss.
Campus Greening: To maintain and enhance the green cover of our school campus and promote cleanliness (Swachhata).
Youth Leadership: To develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills among students through service and project management.
Resource Conservation: To promote the sensible use of natural resources like water and electricity.

"Go Green" Campaigns:
Tree Plantation Drives (Vana Mahotsav): Regular campaigns to plant and nurture saplings on the school premises and in the local neighborhood.
Herbal Garden: Maintaining a small garden of medicinal and useful plants for educational purposes.
Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Drives):
Organizing clean-up campaigns on campus and in the village, focusing on plastic waste reduction and proper waste segregation.
Promoting the use of dustbins and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
Water Conservation Projects:
Conducting audits to check for leaking taps and educating students on the importance of saving water.
Promoting simple methods like using a bucket instead of a hose.
Creative Awareness:
Hosting poster making, slogan writing, and debate competitions on themes like "Say No to Plastic" and "Save Our Rivers."
Creating small informational displays and notice board updates with environmental facts.
Community Engagement:
Organizing awareness walks and street plays (Nukkad Nataks) in the village to educate residents on cleanliness and environmental protection.
