UMV Rajepur, Mehsi, East Champaran, Bihar: The official website of Bihar's first government school.
Welcome to the heart of democracy at UMS UMV Rajepur! The Bal Sansad is our school's student parliament, providing a vital platform for students to actively participate in school management, develop leadership skills, and foster a sense of civic responsibility.
The Bal Sansad is structured to mirror the real legislative body, giving our students a practical understanding of how government works. Its main objectives are:
Promoting Leadership: To identify and nurture leadership qualities, confidence, and public speaking skills in students from an early age.
Encouraging Ownership: To empower students to take ownership of their learning environment and contribute to the school's development and cleanliness.
Developing Citizenship: To teach the fundamental principles of democracy, elections, rights, and responsibilities as a citizen.
Problem-Solving: To provide a voice for the entire student body, identifying and finding solutions to school-related issues with the guidance of teachers.
The Bal Sansad is an elected body, formed through a democratic election process where students cast votes for their representatives. Our Parliament consists of dedicated ministers, each responsible for a critical area of school life.
